About us

Supporting Lowestoft to Wickham Market

We are dedicated to addressing poverty in Lowestoft and beyond, focusing on alleviating crises and tackling root causes such as isolation, homelessness, unemployment, and mental health challenges. Our commitment is driven by a passion for making a lasting impact in our community and seeing people thrive.

Through our two projects we offer essential services including emergency food distribution, school holiday meals, and support for financial resilience, all aimed at uplifting those in need.

Rob Clarke

Rob Clarke embodied the values that we as a charity wish to emulate. He lived and worked in the local community, until he sadly died in 2021.

He was a lifelong Christian and the greatest expression of his faith was the love, care and compassion that he showed to all, but particularly to the vulnerable and disadvantaged.

He was renowned for his compassionate approach in his work with HIV/AIDS sufferers during the epidemic of the 1980’s. Later, he was instrumental in starting social action projects within the local church and supported the local community through regular volunteering.

Rob did not seek the limelight, he quietly and humbly showed love towards those who needed it, and we are committed to continuing his legacy and perpetuating the positive influence he had on so many lives.

We are very thankful to all of Rob’s family who are very much part of the team and are cheering us on.
